How to use one trigger signal to synchronize 2 sony xc st cameras

I am planning to synchronize 2 sony xc st50 cameras with one trigger signal. Has anyone done that before?

I have been triggering one camera successfully following the instruction in

Since I did not find any standard equipment to trigger 2 cameras at same time, I think it may work that I split the 12pin cable into 2 and connect the 2 cameras in parallel. I dont know if this method would work or simply burn the cable and the DC700 box.

You should be able to share one trigger split out to 2 cameras. To be sure, see if you can locate the current ratings for DC700 box trigger output and the camera trigger inputs.

If DC700 out > (2x camera trigger input) then you are fine.
