How trigger an application in Compact Vision using LabView

Hello,

I don't know how to trigger an application which acquire image from a  telecamera and process them in compact Vision using LabView. I tried to trigger the telecamera but it doesn't work how I need.

I want just to conect at an input of compact vision a signal which tell me when the machine start to work and in the same time I want to start the aqcuire process and when the machine is stoping I want to close the application and repet the process when the machine start again.

How can I do this?

I have some problems. I want to use the trigger witn the FPGA. The last example form the topic which you give me.

I connect an signal generator to the TRIG0 ISO IN of the cvs which generate a signal 0-4V.

I've attached  an image with myblock diagram. The problem is that I don't see any change off the Trigger status led. And I can make the sum all the time. What is wrong?

I think this has a simple solution. I'm a begginer in LabView and for me doesn't look so simple. 😞

Hello,

I have a question. Do you know where can I find the block which is attached in the image?

I think did block make the connection to the fpga device and without it nothing works.
