I need a code fragment showing how to snap an 8 bit greyscale image and apply false coloring (much like you can do in IMAQ Builder), but in semi-realtime for a laser alignment utility.
What you want to do is use a color palette for displaying your images. There are several standard palettes you can use, or you can define your own. Generate the palette once outside your loop, then wire it to the WindDraw vi inside the loop. I think the vi for generating the palette is "Create Palette".
