I have NI Vision Acquisition 8.5.1 and a video grabber card. I am told I need to use Vision Assistant to do what I

need and that it is part of installation. Where do I find it or how do I get it installed.

Installing the Vision Assistant
As of NI-Vision 7.0, the Vision Assistant became part of a collection of vision tools called the Vision Development Module.  The Vision Development Module consists of NI-Vision, Vision Acquisition software (IMAQ drivers), and the Vision Assistant.  There will be an option in the installation tree for the Vision Development Module to install the Vision Assistant.

When inserting a disc 1 of 2 of NI Vision Acquisition 8.5.1 it does not give me the options you show on your printout. I am sorry to keep hassling you but I cannot get my head round what to do.

No I had not got the CD. I have now found out that NI Vision Acquisition 8.5.1 is the software to drive a video grabber card. Vision Assistant 8.6 is free to download 30 day trial from NI's website then around £2800 to purchase. Thanks for your help. I am sorted now.Smiley Happy
