You will also want to read through chapter 5 of the IMAQ Vision for LabVIEW User Manual:

These should give you a good idea of what the functions do.

Thanks for the info, but........
I'm working with IMAQ 6.1. In my concepts manual there is no information about the functions
-IMAQ Advanced Setup Learn Pattern 2
-IMAQ Advanced Setup Match Pattern 2
-IMAQ Refine Matches

In the manual they only talk about the standard pattern matching functions.

It seems that in the new IMAQ 7.0 help file there is much more info. Maybe these functions are described in there ?
