IMAQ Snap and Save Problems, Examples Needed

I have a program that uses an IMAQ Snap and Save VI that was based on the HL Snap and Save example VI. This example had a sub VI called IMAQ Save buffer.vi which allowed the Snapped image to be saved to a .bmp. The Snap & Save VI in my program no longer works in LabView 6.1 with IMAQ 6.9.2, I think the problem is the save buffer sub VI.

I have two questions related to this:
1) Is there a similar Snap and Save example that works with LabView 6.1?

2) Under Windows NT 4 I can't open the HL IMAQ examples in Labview 6.1, attempting to open one causes LabView to terminate. I think this is because the VIs can't find the IMAQ WindDraw.vi and the IMAQ WindClose.vi. I have put an identical installation on a Win XP machine and they o
pen just fine. I can't find the offending missing VIs anywhere though to copy them over to the NT machine. Does anybody know where they are kept?

Here is an example from the National Instruments web site that snaps and saves an image to file. The example was originally written in LabVIEW 5.1, and I have verified that it works in LabVIEW 6.1 as well. NI Developer Zone Example: Snap and Save an Image to File Using Only NI-IMAQ

To answer your second question, the IMAQ WindDraw and IMAQ WindClose VIs are installed with IMAQ Vision. Therefore, if you only have NI-IMAQ (the hardware driver for NI framegrabbers), but you do not have IMAQ Vision (an extensive library of LabVIEW image processing VIs), then you will not have these WindDraw VIs. If you do have IMAQ Vision instal
led on your computer, then IMAQ WindDraw.vi and IMAQ WindClose.vi should be located on the Motion & Vision >> Vision Utilities >> External Display palette in LabVIEW 6.1, or in the C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 6.1\vi.lib\Vision\Display.llb directory.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any further problems.

Thank you for directing me to the IMAQ only example. I can open it and run it successfully on the NT machine. I can't build it on the NT box though. Part way through the build process it causes LabView to terminate, and no executable is created. I can build it just fine under XP, and for the moment I can live with this and just transfer the executable back, but I would really rather build it on the target machine.

I have attached a zip file of the target build directory, I have used the default build settings for this test; perhaps you can figure out where it crashed out from the files that it left behind.
