I've been using a Point Grey Flea 3 USB3 camera on a deployment PC for a month or so with no problems. I made a change to my LabVIEW code yesterday, built a new exe, built an installer for it, and then installed the new version on the deployment. After installing I was forced to re-activate the VAS liscense (which I did with no problems).
Now the camera will not work in my software, or in Max. I just get an "Invalid parameter" error. I've tried resetting my MAX database, deleting the camera XML (as recommended by point grey), and re-configuring the drivers.
If I revert the drivers back to the Point Grey ones, I can use the camera with the Mfg software (flycap), but if I switch the camera to the IMAQ drivers (as required for the camera to show up in MAX) it no longer works.
So what's going on? See attachment for screenshot of error

Was this a clean install of the IMAQdx drivers on the PC in question or was it an upgrade? I wonder if there is some sort of corrupt install...

It was an upgrade I guess. I'm not exactly sure what the versions involved were, as it was just something that the installer took care of on it's own.

This was fixed with a complete unistall and re-install of ALL the runtime engines and NI stuff. After reinstall, I updated everything with the NI-update service and the problem seems to have gone away.

If you have any context/history for what pieces you originally had installed and what pieces you upgraded (that then broke), it would be helpful so we can try that in-house and see what is broken in the installer upgrade logic.
