IMG_ERR_TIMO problem.

I am having this error 'IMG_ERR_TIMO' with my PCI-1408.It seems that all my installation and configurations are correct rite from the start. Can u pls explain what this error is or why it happens. And how can I retify this problem. Pls help.

This is a timeout error, which means the computer runs out of time before it acquires an image. My initial guess is that the signal from the camera is not reaching the IMAQ board. To verify this, disconnect the cable from the camera and see if the same problem occurs.

Things to check: Is the power for the camera wired correctly and working? Are all the camera switches in the default position? Is the signal cable correctly wired?
