Hello,
I try to use some old equipment that was working fine back in days but wasn't use for several years.
In my setup I have an IMAQ PCI-1409 card, a Sony SSC-DC330 NTSC camera and a windows 2000 PC.
About my software :
Measurement & Automation Explorer 2.0.3.6
LabVIEW Run-time 6.1
NI-IMAQ 2.51
The problem is that when I try to take a snap, I get the error "IMG_ERR_VLCK cant' lock on video source".
Here is what I have already checked :
-The camera works fine with a monitor.
-The camera is well connected and I use a brand new cable.
-I used the diagnostic tool to perform tests on all channel, everything is good.
-The NTSC file was already used as the interface file, but I also tried a new one to see if default settings could help. By the way, I have 4 channels displayed but I don't know which one linked to by BNC connect, so when I change a setting or try to take a snap, I do it on all 4 channels.
-I opened the PC case to check that the W1 jumped is present because I use the BNC connector.
-I tried to connect the card to a different PCI port on the motherboard.
