Imaq Snap fails in multi acq. with Low light

My application has one image with intense light and on another channel The image is dimmly lit. This is making my software timeout during a snap. If I open the apperature on the second channel there is no problem...

Are you using a line scan camera? If so, these cameras typically require bright lighting in order to work. You may want to check with the camera manufacturer to see if this is the case.

The board that I am using is a PCI1409. I am using the Sony XC-ST50 Cameras

The minimum illumination for this camera according to the following site is spec'd at 0.3 lx(F1.4), so make sure you've got that.

SO does that mean that the data stream will not work at low light conditions??? Or is that the minimum light needed to get an output from the CCD array???
