Hi there,
The USB menu does not appear until you install the USB drivers. These are a seperate entity to the NI supplied Vision drivers.
Hope this helps

Thanks Adam for your quick response.
but I have already installed the USB drivers, that is where I get the NI-IMAQ_for_USB_Cameras_User_Guide.pdf.
Thanks anyway.

What version of LabVIEW are you running?

It says C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Vision Assistant 7.1
What files should be installed there?
The USB webcam works fine in the Vision Assistant, but in Labview I cannot find the VIs..
Thanks

Hi alang,
Does it work in vision assistant for you?

Hi there,
Yes it works on vision assistant 8.5 when I run it externally, apart from Labview. When i choose the acquire tab, I can even choose to acquire through USB and I can see the video playback onscreen.
When I use the labview vision assistant icon though, I am stuck on the process image tab with all other tabs and most of the functions greyed out. And of course, the USB submenu is missing.
