Is this normal 32-bit image converted to 8-bit

Hello

I try check color and luminance each symbol in ma image which is 32-bit when loaded.

I want to have as much as possible data ( precise)

I use IMAQ Count Objects and use it to know how much particels i have, then i take this data and in loop want mesure RGB and Luminance for each particle, but when i  pass image to loop is automaticly converted to 8-Bit why???????

Does your problem still presist? Are you trying to do this in LabView? Could you attach your code, so I can check it?
