Kodak Megaplus ES 1.0 is not taking the second image when firing in the double exposure mode. Can someone please suggest something

Can someone please explain why the Kodak Megaplus ES 1.0 is not able to take the second image when in double exposure mode. I am using it with IMAQ 1422 card and triggering the camera using IDT Provision II software.

Hi,

Could you please provide a few more details about your application?  What version of the NI-IMAQ driver are you using?  Can you take the second image in double exposure mode when you are not triggering?  Do  you  have access to LabVIEW that you could test this out in?  Also, are you able to test this in Measurement & Automation Explorer? Where are you getting the Double Exposure mode property?

Hi,

I am getting the double exposure property in MAX. It is not taking the second image using max also. It says camera timed out although it can take the continous image normally using MAX. I am using Provision II to trigger the camera. The IMAQ 1422 card that I am using is along with a PCI 6602 timing card. The IMAQ driver that I am using is Ver. 2.5.1 with updates 2.5.3 and 2.5.5. MAX shows the camera listed as IDT ES 1.0. Please provide me with further informationif you have any.

Hi myali123,

Are there any errors being thrown? If so, what are the errors?

Are you using the serial interface?

Also, have you verified the trigger signal?
