Lentil Sorter Machine

Hello, I received a project. They want to make a lentil sorter machine.

This machine features;

1- There are 40 units lentils intransitive channel. 

2- I want to use a line scan camera

3- sorting process will be performed with micro-pumps( analog input) so required to give way to pump a processor

time required for image processing and lentil sorter (micro-pumps process) is 10 ms.

To perform this project which is required to use products.

High-speed sorting is a fairly common use case for NI tools.  Not many companies can tightly integrate and synchronize machine vision with high-speed I/O in the same system.  Your best first step is probably to speak directly with the field engineer in your area.  He or she can learn the specific requirements for your system and recommend the correct resources, hardware and software to develop the system.

10ms is too tough an ask I will say. What are the parameters that you will need to inspect? Did you try progressive scan camera (makes life a bit simpler but no assurance of 10 ms). my personal thought is to try and find out a way by which you club multiple obects and process it in a single frame.
