Location of NI-IMAQ directory structure.

After I install NI-IMAQ (version 4.2 I believe) I checked the directory and found two locations:

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI-IMAQ\...

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\NI-IMAQ\...

Before I've installed NI-IMAQ (version 3.7 I believe) and I only saw one location for all NI files, that's the first location: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI-IMAQ\...

I wonder whether I did something wrong during installation. The big problem is, when I use the software seems it treat the second location as default directory and only look for camera files underneath that folder. Is there any way to change the default folder back to first location? Thanks.

The NI-IMAQ folder existed in both locations in both listed versions of NI-IMAQ. The thing that changed from the earlier listed version to the current version is that the NI-IMAQ\Data folder, which holds all the camera files, was changed from the first location to the second. Now the default directory for the camera files is in the second location. You did not do something wrong in the installation.

You cannot change the default folder back to the first location.
