You may want to try the following suggestions in the order in which I wrote them, however I would like to point out just in case you installed all the boards at the same time, please make sure that you install one board at a time and that it works fine in MAX, if board 1 works, then install board 2, and so on. I've seen problems when installing multiple boards at the same time.
Suggestions:
1. Open MAX, go to view>>refresh or press F5 and then check under 'Devices and Interfaces'. If that does not works then go to Device Manager of Windows and make sure that under the 'National Instruments IMAQ Interfaces' list each board has its name, like 1428, etc. If they do then go ahead and check the properties of the driver and click the 'update driver' button, follow the automa
tic procedures, and have the computer re-assign the driver. If they do not show the name of the interface like PCI-1428 then something might be wrong with the driver you are installing, download NI-IMAQ 2.5.1 from our website and then update it to 2.5.5.
2. if '1' did not work. Close MAX. Please go to C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MAX and delete the file named 'config.mxs'. Restart MAX.
3. If '2' did not work, then to the same but reboot the computer before restarting MAX.
4. If '3' did not work, then shutdown the computer, take all your IMAQ boards out, reboot computer and go to Start >> Settings >> Control Panel >> Add/Remove Software >> NI-IMAQ, click the 'change' button and select 'reinstall', before pressing this button you should select 'reinstall mode' to the bigger one. After reinstalling the software, reboot the computer, so registries will be taken care of, then shutdown and install only one board. If it works in MAX then install the second one and so on.
Hope t
his helps.
