Hello,
I'm using MAX on a PC having two network interface cards (NIC):
- one for the LAN
- the other cannected with my ethernet camera ( Basler Scout 640sm)
My problem is :
When I launch MAX and clic on "Perpherics and Interfaces" to discover my camera, MAX send UDP broadcast packets on each NIC.
Is it possible to configure MAX to only discuss on the NIC connected with the camera ?
Thank you by advance

Thanks GuenterMueller for your answer.
If I deactivate ping discovery, udp packets disappear, but in that case, I'm in the same situatuion explained by walleye at the end of the thread :
Unfortunatly, no one has given a solution...
Is there a way to deactivate ping discovery to a specific card ?

Sorry, no, there is not. This was especially true on Windows XP because there was no way to properly limit broadcasts to specific interfaces. On Vista and later this has been fixed but IMAQdx does not have any configuration option to do this currently. Is there a particular reason this feature would be necessary to you?
Thanks,
Eric

Thanks BlueCheese for your answer.
The reason is to disable 86400 udp packets sent each day elsewhere than on nic card connected to the camera.
