Could you post the version of LabVIEW you are using and the versions of your driver software? It is possible the driver software does not have support for the version of LabVIEW you are using. It is also possible the support is available, but for some reason is not getting selected during installation.
During the install of VAS, there is a screen which shows which parts of VAS are going to be installed. One of these parts is support for LabVIEW. Run the install and see if your version of LabVIEW is supported by that version of the driver and make sure that the support is selected.

I also faced a similar issue recently. I had labview 8.6 but the vision acquisition system/software was 8.5 which did not have support for labview 8.6.
Your problem should be solved by installing a supported version of VAS.
