Programming in VB/.NET with imaqdx

Hello,

I need some help in programming a script in Visual Basic (.NET or COM). It hast to be just coded without any forms. I tryed a lot and also had a look in this discussion forum and the help files, without any success.

I have an Firewire Camera and have NI-Imaq installed. I am also using vision builder AI and everything is working fine.

I neet a short script for acquiering an image and saving that to my harddisk. (Unfortunately I have no examples in my installing folder, don't know whats wrong).

I would be happy if anyone can help me.

hi there,

I guess your camera isn't any of the NI-Imaq supported ones. So there is nothing you could do in NI-Imaq. I was there before. My solution at that time was to browse the CD shipping together with the camera and find possible examples or dll that you could use for snapping the image and save it to the hard disc. Then you can use ReadImage function to load the image for NI-Imaq process.

Actually it is a supportet camera, which I am using with Vision Builder. My current issue is, that I don t have any examples :-(... Do you have some?

Hello Cokfat,

please install the vision development modul to find VB examples.

And place a checkmark on the VB entry during the installation process.

For display and save the image you need only the vision acquisition software.
