Pulnix RM-6740GE error 0xBFF69012

Solved!
Go to solution
Hello,

I'm trying to use a Pulnix RM-6740GE, dated 6/10/09 with LabVIEW. LabVIEW is
having trouble interfacing with the camera. I try to view an image
through NI-MAX first and it returns a error 0xBFF69012 - attribute out of
range. The camera works find with the JAI tool software so I believe its
not an ethernet interface problem. Can you shed any light on what may be
causing the problem?

Thanks,

I suggest checking with JAI regarding your camera's firmware to make sure that it is compliant with the GigE Vision standard.  If necessary, you should be able to download the GigE Vision compliant firmware from http://www.jai.com/EN/CameraSolutions/Download/Pages/Cam2NetSW.aspx.

Hi Bruce,

Is there any more text associated with that error- specifically, which attribute is out of range?  This would help with troubleshooting.

I have found and fixed the problem.  I noticed that my versions of NI-IMAQ and NI-IMAQdx were not the current versions so I updated them.  Then I deleted the .iid and .icd files for the camera.  I cycled the power on the camera, launched NI-MAX and the camera was working properly.  I then continued to my vi and the camera preformed perfectly!Smiley Very Happy

Thanks,

Bruce
