Hi Guys, I am using Thorlabs Qunalux camera CS2100M-USB 3.0, it is working very fine with the Thorlabs given software and the Thorlabs LabVIEW VI. But I would like to write a VI using NI IMAQdx pallets, But the camera is not detected in NI MAX>Device and Interfaces.
I have already install Vision Acquisition Software 2017 version. The IMAQdx devices folder itself is missing in NI-MAX.
My system is - 8 GB RAM, 64 bit and LabVIEW 17.0f2 (32 bit).
looking forward for your kind support.

Hello,
Can you confirm with Thorlabs that their camera is USB 3 Vision compliant? I checked the website and it mentions USB 3.0 but I didn't see anything about USB 3 Vision or the logo. They're also not on the AIA list of companies that license the standard. It's possible to make a camera that communicates over the USB 3.0 bus but not according to the official USB 3 Vision standard. Since the company provided their own LabVIEW VIs, I am guessing this is the case. If the camera is not USB 3 Vision compliant, you won't be able to use IMAQdx functions to communicate with it.
Hope this helps,
Katie

Hi Kensign
Thanks for your suggestion, yes I asked Thorlabs technical support about the issues, this camera does not support the National Instruments IMAQ libraries, So I have to work with the VIs they have provided.
