Two problems seek for solutions-Template in pattern matching

When I set up template in pattern matching,two problems frequently took place.
1.The template is too small.
2.The contrast in the template is too low.
Anyone who can tell me in detail how to solve those.

When selecting a template image, the minimum size for the template is 8pixels X 8pixels. Increasing the size of your template above these values should correct the first error.
The second error is caused by a lack of details the algorithum can use to identify characteristics of the image. When you increase the size of your template, this may help the error.
