USB Camera support for NI-IMAQ for Measurement Studio?

Does NI plan to extend the USB camera support to NI-IMAQ for Measurement Studio?  Perhaps in release 8?  Or is there a way to simply call the LV dll for the USB camera support from Visual Studio .NET ?  I have seen .NET add-in's for TWAIN supported USB cameras which can capture the image into windows, then use NI-IMAQ to perform image processing, but there should be an easy way to capture directly using NI-IMAQ.

National Instruments is always looking for ways to improve our products.  I encourage you to submit a product suggestion http://digital.ni.com/applications/psc.nsf/default?OpenForm&temp1=&node=, so R&D can be aware of the need for this feature.  Currently the only way to use the IMAQ USB driver in .NET is to create a .dll in LabVIEW which contains the IMAQ USB functions you need and then call that .dll in .NET.
