Hello NI,
We are testing our camera with your NI MAX.
We comply with USB3 Vision Protocol.
Our camera is passsed via Matox S/W.
Currently We are testing our camera via NI MAX.
but in the NI MAX, our camera is not operated.
Current State..
1. XML OK
2. Register Read/Write OK.
3. Payload Size : 16272720 Bytes
4. Width:4660, Height: 3496
But NI Max doesn't send the command (ISO Enable/ Stream Enable)..
Why does it happen?
Regards,
Nick.

What error do you receive when you use the camera in MAX? Have you passed the USB3 Vision compliance test suite with this device?
Can you provide a USB bus capture that shows the issue?
Thanks,
Eric

Do you have USB3 Vision compliance Test tool?
If ready to the data, I'll attached the file.
Thank you..

The attached test file is captured by USBPcap.
It can be seen by the wireshark tool.
If the snap button is clicked, Error 0xBFF6903B Unkown USB3 Vision error displays..
Thank you.

Hi,
As part of developing an officially licensed USB3 Vision product, the AIA gives you access to the Compliancy Test tool. Please contact the AIA (info listed in the standard itself) for access to this tool.
Regarding the bus capture, is there any chance you can capture it in LeCroy's format (as captured by something like this: http://teledynelecroy.com/protocolanalyzer/protocoloverview.aspx?seriesid=280) , as they have nice decoding built into their tool.

Could you let us know how to capture data via NI Max.. we can not afford to buy bus capturing equipment.
In case of GigaE Vision, NI provides the compliance test tool.
Could you provide the compliance test tool for USB3 vision?
Regards,
Nick.

The validation tool provided by IMAQdx is very basic and really is not able to help diagnose problems that prevent the camera from being used. It is more for automating testing a variety of usages within IMAQdx and making sure they work. There is no means to get more debugging info from it than what a standard application can do. If you do want to try it, you can (it is the same executable as you indicated you used with GigE Vision), but I doubt it will help.
I think your best approach is to use the official compliance test tool from the USB3 Vision standard. I cannot provide it here as the license prevents additional redistribution -- you must get it directly from the AIA who oversees the USB3 Vision specification and licenses products.

Ok. I see. We try to get the tool via AIA.
We can see the image via matrox tool.
We think our camera would be compliant with the USB3 Vision.
,but as my above comment,
NI Max does not send the command (ISO Enable/ Stream Enable) under the suitable conditions.
We don't understand..
In case of basler, pointgrey camera co. we know NI has coworked with them for NI S/W
Could NI cowork with our company?
Would you guarantee that If our camera is passed via AIA test suit application, our camera operates well in NI Max?
Regards,
Nick.

Hi Nick,
I've never seen a camera that passed the official AIA USB3 Vision validation suite that didn't work with IMAQdx, so I would assume if you can make it pass there it should work in our software too.

Ok, I see. We try to do..
Thank you..
