Use Golden Template Inspection to compare parts of images

Hi,all
I have a process that is to inspect the defect of LCD.I want to use the golden template inspection to do this. But I have a problem for this.I get the image of LCD from camera. The part of image is I need but all.So I need to create a template from the image of LCD from camera.Then use the template to compare the image get from camera,find the defect.
I had read the example of Golden Template Inspection.It is compare the all image use the template.This is not I want to do this .can anyone help me? thank you very much!

I want to compare part of image which get from camera. I need to inspect  LCD.I use a camera to get image. The image usually large than the display.So I need to create a template from part of image,and compare it to the image which get from camera. can you understand me?

Hi, as you described, you should select specified ROI(region of interst) from one image, then implement pattern match. You can refer to LabVIEW example to implement this, if any problem, please feel free to contact with us. NI Application Engineer Ben

First create a proper template from vision assistant and play around with the captured images to check the consistency and adjust the score for getting proper repeatability. Once you have done this you can check your real time images.
