Vision Builder 3.5, Region of Interest

how can one set region of interest relative to the set coordinate setup in Vision Builder 3.5?

You first have to define a coordinate system using the set coordinate system step. Then, insert your processing step where you draw the region of interest. The only thing you have to do to have the ROI reposition based on the coordinate system is to verify that the "Reposition Region of Interest" checkbox is checked and that the Reference Coordinate System is the one you defined previously.

The battery clamp example illustrates that.

Note that for now, you cannot define a region of interest in one state and use it to reposition a region of interest in another state.

thanks, it worked.  I had mistakenly defining a masked region in the Vision Assistant, and it doesn't shift with the coordinate system.

I use Vision builder 3.5, and I need to select ROI from user when the inspection run (flexible by mouse or by number entered by user), the option REPOSITION REGION of INTEREST do not active..

please, can explain, how can activate this option and how can make flexible ROI selection?

Hi Al-Juboori,

If I understand your application correctly, you can use the Create Region of Interest step (located under Enhance Images).  If you would like the user to enter numeric values for the ROI, you can also use the User Input step (located under Use Additional Tools).
