Hello,
clicking the "New character set" or "Edit character set" does not start the OCR training interface. I tried to reinstall vision assistant with no success.

Hi,
Can you give me more informations about the aplication? Which versions of software do you use? Was it working before? If so, have you made any changes to SW?

Which versions of software do you use?
W7 32b
LV 11.0.1.f1 32b
VA 2011SP1
Was it working before?
Yes, but have not been using it recently.
If so, have you made any changes to SW?
Maybe 😞
The OCR interface utility located at ...National Instruments\Vision\Utility is working.
VIs in OCR Training.llb located at ...National Instruments\Vision Assistant\Plugins are broken (the main VI).
Guess there are some referenced VIs missing but dunno what to reinstall, since those are expected to be located at \Vision assistant.exe\... ???

So the broken interface is probably not a problem, rest of the plugins are also broken and run no problem in VA.

It looks like there's a corrupted library that includes the VIs. Try to replace that library:
1) Close any National Instruments software running on the machine.
2) Replace library 60 IVA OCR.llb, that should be located in C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Vision Assistant\Plugins\, with the one I attached here in the zip file.
Please let me know, if this will solve your problem.
