What external library is required for Image Display control

I get Front panel error "Plug-in control '<name>' requires external library" when I place the Image Display control from
Image Display Controls.llb on a new front panel. All existing Image Display controls on VIs that have worked perfectly for over a year
suddenly invoke the same error--on two different computers. What external library required, and where do I get it?
I have installed the same IMAQ drivers and Vision software that was there before when everything worked.
However, when I repair IMAQ Vision, I get "Error 1605 occurred while installing NI-RPC 2.2.1f0 Enging for LVRT. Continue installing other products?",
and I click Yes. Then I get the same error again, then the installation proceeds uneventfully. When I run the same thing again, it only offers to install MAX, implying that everything else got installed.

Hi BugBuster -

The Image Display control is installed with any of our acquisition drivers or the Vision Development Module ("IMAQ Vision", in older versions).  It calls back to a DLL function that gets installed with the software.  From the error messages you're getting, it sounds like you've got a corrupted installation on your system.

I recommend fully uninstalling IMAQ Vision and all your NI-IMAQ drivers (including NI-IMAQ 1394 and NI-IMAQ USB if you have them).  Afterward, reboot your system and reinstall IMAQ Vision.  When that is complete, install the latest version of NI-IMAQ (currently 3.5.1, which is included in the Vision Acquisition Software bundle) from our website.  This should fix the corruption and get you back to work.  You can reinstall other IMAQ drivers too, but upgrading the versions may require you to purchase new licenses.
