Where to hook TTL Common if using TTL and 24V on CVS through 44 pin DSUB?

I am trying to trigger a Basler camera with a RJ45 10 pin connector.  I want to use a 24V prox sensor, into the ISO In and then output a TTL pulse to the trigger line of the camera.  I'm confused though where to hook the common (N) line of the TTL to the camera sending the pulse through the normal IO pin 6 for instance.   If I use this do I hook the common to pin 5, common-mode signal of the CVS-140 main power?   The main power is 24 VDC.  Wasn't sure if TTL could share a common with 24 VDC through the 44 pin D-sub?  Internally to the CVS, I would think it does?

I realize I could use the TRIG0, but I don't have a SMB connector for the trigger line and don't know how to terminate that with the coax on one end and 2 wire leads on the other...

Thanks in advance!

Yes, you should use that common line. It should share the same as the power source.
