Hi,
I'm trying to use Vision Assistant to measure the length (in pixel) of the fibers in some images like the once attached. With the Advance Straight Edge command I get some results, because it was possible to identify the directions of the fibers, but I can not set the command parameters to identify the beginning and the end of each line.
Can anyone help me??
Thank you very much.

Wow.
You've got some curved edges in there, that'll make it more difficult.
You notice that you're actually getting the two points shown in the graphic (either end of the detected edge) as return values from the algorithm? If you do a search of the entire image, this will return you the data neccessary to calculate the length. If one of the points is at thevery edge of the Image, then your returned value is n estimate only.

Yes, there's a lot of object, and so everything become difficult! ![]()
Thanks for your advice, I'm trying working on it: can I save or export the data about the Edge Point found on Search Line? Also when I have them in a spreadsheet, I must identify the two edge points to connect for each different fibers... but maybe it can works!!
Thank you very much
