Hi,
I need to setup suitable camera to monitor front panels of equipments in lab. The equipments are like digital voltmeter.
I tried Logitech QuickCam Communicate Deluxe webcam but image wasn't well.
Any idea how to choose camera or type of camera?
Also it would be abs perfect if camera can be turned (left-right, top-down).
Thanks, Andrey

Dear Andrey,
We would be happy to help you select the appropriate camera(s). What are the dimensions of the various front panels? What is the smallest detail on the front panels that needs to be resolved. How far away from the front panels would you like to position the camera(s). If you would like, call 512-416-1099 x2 to discuss in detail.

Hi Andrey,
Are you looking to use only a USB camera? Here is a KnowledgeBase stating which cameras are supported by Vision Acquisition Software: Is my Camera Supported?
On another thread the Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 was recommended.
I hope this helps.

Distance is up to 5 m. The smallest parts are on front panel of HV module Canberra HV 3106D http://www.canberra.com/products/665.asp. these are around 5 mm * 10 mm.
We can decrease distance to 2 m and install additional webcam.

USB camera is the best choice from installation point of view because we don't need to open PC box.
We thought about Logitech Webcam Pro 900 camera (Logitech has another similar one). A difference between our Logitech and Logitech Webcam Pro 900 cameras is not big in MP = SQRT ( 2/1.3). Of course, Carl Zeiss optic maybe help. It is cheap and maybe we will buy one to try ...
