cannot find NI-Vision software for 5431 board.

Hello WeedEater. NI-Vision is the image processing and machine vision toolkit for LabVIEW. It is used to analyze images, not output them. I believe you want the driver for the 5431 Arbitrary Waveform Generator. This arb uses simply NI-FGEN as its driver and the 5431 Composite Video Genererator is its application software. Both are available from ni.com.

Thank you for your reply. I only ask the question in reference to downloadable LabView examples here that state that 'NI-Vision' is a required driver. I have NI-FGEN and all the other things, but not this. And I'm having trouble finding it on the ni.com site. Can you direct me to the right place?

Ahhh. Depending on the example, you may need an IMAQ Vision VI, called WindDraw, to display the image that is being processed. If WindDraw is the only VI that's missing when you open the example program, then simply download the replacement VI. It can be found in an example program called IMAQ Display without IMAQ Vision. It should be a drop in replacement to WindDraw.

However, if the example programs you download actually process an image, you will need the IMAQ Vision toolkit to run them.
