The blur is due to a slow shutter speed. If the shutter remain "open" for too long, you will get blurry images for fast moving objects.
To fix the problem, you will need to use very bright lighting, a large aperture to let in as much light as possible, and a faster shutter speed so the camera is finished taking the picture before the object moves significantly.
If you know the speed of the object, you can figure out what the shutter speed needs to be to eliminate blurring.
I'm not sure what the capabilities of the Sony Viewcam are. You might need to switch cameras to be able to control shutter speed and aperture.
