detect objects

Dear all,

I am a new user of labview and vision assistant.

I need to acquire the flying shape of sails. 

This means that I will have a certain number of markers on the sail. Using vision assistant I would be able to get their coordinates.

If I use the Particle Analysis I am not able to classify the markers and consequently the particle order is random.

If I use Machine Vision I can detect the objects using Pattern Matching but I encounter 2 main problems:

1.the accurancy of the pattern centre

2.if the sail rotates in a 3D plane It is not able to match the pattern.

Do you have any suggestion?

Which parameters did you consider in particle analysis? You can combine multiple parameters like area and orientation ets to detect the particles that in needed and eliminate the rest. Can you post a few images so that we can get a better idea?

unfortunatly I haven't got the images in my computer but as soon as they'll send me I'll show you them

You can use multiple patterns too and try processing/filtering the image and applying pattern matching.
