labVIEW supports lot of USB cameras /Fire wire cameras.But not all cameras are supported by labVIEW.First decide on the speck of the camera then see whether they provide labVIEW drivers and support files. 8.2 Version of labVIEW has nothing to do with USB camera support.

AVT(Allied vision technology) Provides a lot of usb progressive scan camera. If you are looking for some particular application,you have let us know abt ur application

My Application is Based on OCR so for this purpose i m using LabVIEW 8.2. can u suggest me some USB camera which can improve or support my application.

Hi ddsdds,

National Instruments dose not officially support USB cameras.  We do have an unsupported driver to use USB cameras however.  The USB camera must be direct show compliant to work.  If you are looking for a officially supported camera I would recommend you to www.ni.com/camera  Any of the cameras list on this page will work with Labview.
