imaq find circles

Hi there,

When I apply IMAQ Find Circles.vi on an ordinary overlapped pair of circles, the vi might encounter more than two circles

- see the image in the attachment.

How can I assure to detect only (the correct) two of them ? 

If there is no way to influence the vi, how do I discard such unwanted circles ?

Hello Ted,

Thank you for your post on our webforum. Could you upload a example of a image you are trying to inspect? This result picture is giving me a correct number of circles; I tried the same function in the vision assistant; is the vision assistant giving you the same results?

What happens if you change the minimum and maximum radix parameters?  Are you doing the step on a binary image?  What happens if the step is performed on a grayscale image?
