lincense problem with IMAQ and Visual Studio 2005

Hi, I'm a licensed user for IMAQ 8.2 development module. After creating my application with IMAQ and making sure that all CWIMAQ components don't have the title"evaluation version", i found that they gave me exception error. Although Windowws installer detected all dependencies, the error wasn't fixed on target machine until I installed IMAQ with license file. Is there any way to avoid that as it is impossible to distribute my license on every machine in order to make my deployed IMAQ project work fine. thanks in advance.

Hi,

I believe the information you are seeking can be found in this KB:

http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/865a6ae6e52c755d862569a70062c903?OpenDocument

In particular "If you are using the NI-IMAQ ActiveX control (cwimaq.ocx), you will have to place NiVision.dll and NiVisSvc.dll in the target machine's C:\Windows\System directory, in addition to cwimaq.ocx. The Visual Basic Installer can be configured to install these DLLs for you, and to register the ocx automatically."  I believe that will take care of your error.

This knowledgebase talks about how to license your deployed vision executable.
