pci 1409 in labview 8.6

Hi, I have a problem with PCI 1409 this device is obsolete, only work to color for IMAQ 2.6.1 or less, I tried in diferents version of labview for example labview 8.2, 8.6 and 2009, device is no recognized, and if I add device in my pc, right click,  manage, the PCI only work in black and white, not to color. The option to color is only present for previous version IMAQ 2.6.1 and for this labview 8.6 and version of MAX 3.0.2, my program is in labview 8.6 and when I want convert to previous version, 8.6 to 7.0, error message appears, I revised about still color, I read about edit  IMAQ to color.vi , but what do I do to work PCI in labview 8.6, exist one form that work PCI 1409 in labview 8.6 or 2009 to colors? and when install IMAQ 2.6.1, MAX 3.0.2 initially work only MAX fine, colors, but then appear " DMA error Time out, you can resolve the problem reducing the size to adquire window, but uninstall and install, the error continue, I need some help, thanks.

Hi, I saw this before, but only mention how configurate your pci 1409 or pci 1408 in NI Imaq 2.6.1 or early, I know about this, but there mention "Note that StillColor mode is only supported in NI-IMAQ 2.6.1 or earlier. See the related links section below for a programmatic solution for StillColor acquisition in LabVIEW 2009" but in related links no mention about configurate  pci 1409 in labview 2009,  I would like know if NI had a problem with pci and therefore the PCI now is obsolete.

I saw this before but it wasn't useful for me,thanks anyway Lucianogob, I tried to make but show me error in color block, fortunately I could fix the problem and I will share with you the solution:

If you have a VI in labview 8.6 or later, you have a PCI 1409 and you want see your program to color function:

* If you have laview 8.6 installed, converter your program to labview 8.0

* then, uninstall all.

* Install IMAQ 2.6.1 and MAX 3.0.2 (usually comes in labview 7.0)

* Configure your PCI 1409 in MAX, make sure that you can see to color when you adquision video. (if you see to gray scall , reconfigures until you can see colors)

*  Install labview 8.0 uncheck IMAQ, only labview 8.0, this will install labview and max 4.1 (for default) but how you not install IMAQ, the MAX to use the old IMAQ version (2.6.1) achieving you see adquision video in colors.

*converter your program labview 8.0 to labview 7.1 (if you get errors  dont worry when you finish making you can fix this errors)

* finally, install labview 7.1, and vision adquisicion, but is very important that you NOT install the IMAQ of labview 7.1, when you install vision adquision in your program errors appear, you replace the block for block of labview 7.1 (This is because the blocks are similar but not recognize in some version) then make sure that IMAQ 2.6.1 yet still recognizes colors, and you achieved your program of labview 8.6 or later (for example labview 2009), in to OBSELETE PCI 1409!! 🙂 (I suffered through this) good luck all
