What actually happens in the Calibration when you select Preview Corrected Image?
I have a round object and perform a Simple Calibration, select the previously found center point as the origin, with a zero relative angle.   When I select Preview Corrected Image, it rotates the image.  Haven't been able to find any documentation on this...

Hi kdalton,

When you select the Preview Corrected image, Vision Assistant will display your image after applying the calibration to each pixel.

In your case, it sounds as though it is rotating the image because you have selected a direct coordinate system with your simple calibration, and it is flipping the pixel points.  If you want to stop the rotation, you can select the indirect coordinate system in the calibration step.

The preview corrected image feature would be much more obvious had you happened to need a perspective or nonlinear calibration.  In the case of a simple calibration, the change is rather minor.

Hope this helps!
