saving a 3D image

I want to know how to save a 3D image created in the 3D View Setup of NI Vision Assistant.  I have put together the image I want to save, but cannot find any function with which to save it.  I want to be able to keep it as a JPEG, GIF or some other file so that I will be able to use it in a PowerPoint presentation or print it out.

Hi,

Unfortunately, there is no way to save the 3D image in Vision Assistant. This step is not inserted in the script, because it doesn't make a lot of sense to further process the 3D image. This is basically just an investigation tool that you can use to analyse the content of your image.

If you have LabVIEW and IMAQ Vision, you can write a simple program to save the 3D image.

If you don't have LabVIEW and IMAQ Vision, I suggest you do a print screen and use a third party software to paste the image and save the 3D view.
