would like to connect the board to several LVDS sources using 1cabel,

Hi

I am using NI IMAQ 3.7 and a NI1422 LVDS frame grabber.
I would like to connect the board to several LVDS sources using 1cabel, i.e.: acquire the data in multiplexed configuration (only 1 source at any time) Therefore I need a unique ID for each source in order to identify its data using the SDK.
I'll appreciate if some one can help me and send me a suitable code for this application.

amirb,

As a disclaimer - the 1422 LVDS was not designed to take in multiple cameras on a single cable so you will need to do a lot testing for this. As far as giving each camera an identifier, one way to do this is to use the DIO lines to identify which camera is connected. You cannot change how the driver identifies the cameras connected to the card, but you could send a signal on the DIO lines and poll this for identification.

What kind of multiplexing are you using?
