xc-hr70 with PCI 1411

Can Sony xc-hr70 camera work with NI PCI-1411 board?

Hi,

It does not seem so. If you take a look at this resource you can see the supported formats of the card. Looking through the specifications of your camera in this link, I do not see any indication that it is in this format. Also the connector used on the camera, 12 pin (New EIAJ), is not supported by the card. The card takes BNC and S-video cables.

The PCI-1411 only supports standard interlaced video formats.

The XC-HR70 is a progressive scan (which basically means non-interlaced) thus it is not compatible with the 1411.

Thanks, According to NI website, PCI-1410 supports xc-hr70 camera. Do you know other frame grabbers that can work with xc-hr70?

The 1410 was the only NI board able to support the HR-70.
