Computer Failure - Migrating Measure 1.2c

Greetings,

I have recently had a very old computer fail that was running the serial.xla add-in from NI Measure 1.2c.
I tried installing the hard drive on a new computer.  The files are accessible, but the drive will not boot.
I've moved pretty much everything over to the new system, however, in doing so, I can't get Measure to work.
I don't have the original disks (I don't believe), so I'm working with what's on my old drive and what I can get off the web.
I'm assuming that there may be registry settings or other items that didn't make the move that are confounding me.
Moving the serial.xla file over and putting it in as an add-in on my new Excel install gives me compile errors (on a hidden worksheet) when I try to access the serial menu.
Removing this and doing a "fresh" install of the Measure 1.2c files that I've downloaded again from the web appeared to help briefly, but after re-booting, it's failing again.
When I try to run my custom application, it doesn't seem to have my instrument or task setup information in it.  The program merrily tools along, without communicating with my spectrum analyzer and failing to put any data into my spreadsheet (no errors though).
On the most recent pass, I can't even get the serial menu to appear on the pull-down menus (and, yes, I've tried the re-install of Excel and Measure noted on the Measure FAQ).

The big changes to the system are that instead of Win95, I'm running Win2k and instead of Office97, I'm running Office2003. I've noted in other postings that Measure's unverified for this OS and version of office.

I saw one post that said I potentially needed to install the Traditional NI DAQ library, which I've downloaded, but haven't read through. Is this or another library required to use the serial.xla add-in?
I'm curious where the instrument and task settings are stored (I assume they're buried somewhere hidden in the worksheet, since I can't find them on my drive).  If they're in a file somewhere, though, let me know where they might be stored.
I'm wondering if there is other software that I potentially need to install to get this stuff working again.
My system has been offline for several weeks and I need to resolve this.

Thanks,
