I will be creating a vi using strain gauges. I am using a 9237 module along with a NI 9945. The strain guages I am using come wired and have three wires. Two of the wires are shorted (to eliminate lead resistance) the other wire is the other end of the strain gauge. I wired the 9945 except I do not have any wires to connect to pin 3. This I believe is for ground or shield. Do I need to place a wire there. Basically, one wire is connected to pin 0, another wire is connected to pin 1 and the third wire is connected to pin 2.
