mesure voltage on a 7m Ohm

i want to mesure voltage on a 7mOhm resistore that is placed on a 12v Line  voltage range that i look for is in the 0-50mv best resolution as possiable

i have a DAQmx 6289 with SCC-68 and SCC-A10,SCC-AI01

i canot do the mesure on the resistor difrentialy due to the line beeing 12v (i get overload)

and if i mesure  with the SCC module difrentialy i get lots of noise - i tryed mesuring the 12v in reference to the ground on bothe sides but yet again i get lots of noise ( it lookes better thoe)

Need help with the settingup (signal express/ lab view)

I'd like to get some clarification on your question if possible just to make sure I am understanding your goals.

You are trying to measure the voltage drop over a 7 milli-ohm (or is it Mega-ohm?) resistor that is connected to a 12V source, correct?  What reading are you seeing when you are using differential mode?

Could you include a screenshot of your programming setup (either SignalExpress of LabVIEW, whichever you are currently using)?

Any additional information would be helpful in determining the proper setup for your test.
