Hi island,
Those four components would make a nice system for thermocouple measurements.
The 1112 is designed specifically for thermocouple measurements. The 1125 can be used for thermocouple measurements, but is designed for general low-voltage measurements. More specifically:
The 1112 has a range of +-100 mV and has cold junction sensors for each channel.
The 1125 has a range of +-5V and one cold junction sensor.
You would not need a connector block (like the 1328) if you used the 1112, as it is designed for thermocouples to be connected directly.
You may also want to consider a
CompactDAQ system. The cDAQ is a small, rugged and simple system that is great for thermocouple measurements. I recommend that you
call and speak with an internal sales representative to discuss the specific benefits of each system to determine what would be best for your application.
Let us know if we can offer any more help.
