DAQmx 9.6.1 development support

I am installing DAQmx 9.6.1 on Windows 10.  The development support option shows as not available.  I was able to install development support for VISA and 488 however.  What would I be missing?

Regards,

Garth

I appreciate the link, but not the sarcastic reply.  I did do a search but did not happen to come up with that.

Hi Garth,

What are you trying to install the Application Development Support for (LabVIEW, .NET, or ANSI C)?

If you try to modify the installation does it give you the option to install it?

For your reference, I wanted to point out that DAQmx 9.6.1 is not officially supported on Windows 10:

Hi Kyle,

Thank you for your response.  I was trying to install Development Support for .NET.  I was doing an initial install and the option for development support was greyed out saying "not available."  I was able to get throught the VISA and 488 installs fine, which included the development support for .NET.

The company purchased computers for new ATE systems that have Windows 10 on to which I am trying to install our existing test software.

Hi Garth,

Can you confirm that you have at least .NET 4.0 Full installed on the machine?

Why is Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 Required Before Installing National Instruments Software?

Kyle,

Yes, it appears that both the full and client install of the .NET framework 4 is on the computer.

Thanks,
