Hi,
Managed to find this discussion (here) on DAQmx support for 64bit OS/Applications but its a couple of years old.
Was just trying to find out if the latest version(s) of NI-DAQ include 64-bit versions of the user-mode DLLs?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Darren

Hi Darren,
The latest version of DAQmx is now 9.2, which does indeed have 64-bit DAQmx libraries for .NET. 64-bit support was added in for .NET in DAQmx 8.9.5.
You can download the latest version of DAQmx here.

Thanks.
Is 64bit support provided for Visual Studio 2005?
I have no interest in integration with Visual Studio, I simply want the assemblies, which I assume are part of the Visual Studio 2008 support. As I don't have Visual Studio 2008 the installer won't allow me to proceed. Is there any other way of extracting the assemblies from the installer.
Thanks
Darren

Good morning Darren,
With DAQmx 9.2, for Visual Studio 2005 and .NET Framework 2.0, you must have Microsoft Windows 7/Vista/XP - specified in the Read Me file. I'm afraid there is no way of extracting the assemblies without installing it in the usual manner.

This is fine, but do the assemblies installed as part of DAQmx 9.2, for Visual Studio 2005 and .NET Framework 2.0 have 64bit compatability. As far as I can see the only assemblies installed are under Program Files (x86).
Thanks for your help.

While the assemblies are installed to the x86 Program Files location, they do contain 64-bit support. They have to be installed to this location as the installer is also installs 32-bit functions and we have to keep everything in one place.
