Hi, we are about to install our software into a new PC where we plan to have a GPIB-USB hardware instead of the old GPIB board that we currently use. Our software is 100% CLR based and links only to the following libraries:
NationalInstruments.Common.dll
NationalInstruments.NI4882.dll
Will it work If I upgrade my drivers to the latest release? Will I have to change the program in order to it to talk to the new USB hardware?
Thanks for any help!

Hi Luiz,
NI PCI-GPIB and NI GPIB-USB use the same driver. If you are using a VI made before you need certify that VI is looking for the correct resource, once the new hardware can receive a different name on Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX). To certify indicate again the resource name to your VI.
