There is an installation log, but you have to enable it before doing the installation. So, for future reference, this is how to do it:

Your DAQ wizards could have stopped working for any number of reasons. The important thing to know when installing National Instruments drivers and software is to install software and then drivers to ensure everything is installed correctly.
